Surfshark: features and buying guide
Start with the devices in your household.

The short answer
Start with Surfshark's documented features, then check the exact plan and app you need. This guide uses provider sources. We have not published firsthand performance tests or assigned a score.
A household starts with a device list
Surfshark advertises unlimited simultaneous connections. This makes the number of devices a useful starting point for comparison, but it does not establish app support or feature parity on every device. List your computers, phones, televisions and router before subscribing.
Bypasser and MultiHop
The provider lists Bypasser, its split-tunneling feature, and Dynamic MultiHop, which routes a connection through two VPN servers. Check supported platforms and configuration instructions before making either feature part of your buying decision.
Look past the introductory offer
Separate the VPN subscription from bundled security tools. Compare the full amount due now, the renewal amount, taxes, and the procedure for stopping automatic renewal. A monthly equivalent is not the same as a monthly payment.
What still needs a real test
We have not published firsthand Surfshark speed, streaming or leak-test results. An unlimited-device offer is a subscription feature, not evidence that every household device will behave the same way. Check the exact apps you need before committing to a long plan.
