Affiliate disclosure
Know where a link takes you and whether we earn from it.
In short
Our current provider links do not earn a commission. They take you to the provider’s ordinary website through a VPN Brief redirect. We count eligible outbound clicks as described in our privacy policy.
How affiliate links work
If we join an affiliate program, a provider or network may pay VPN Brief when a reader makes an eligible purchase through a tracked link. The provider sets the purchase terms. An affiliate relationship does not give a provider control over our editorial conclusions.
How we label links
Non-affiliate provider buttons are labelled as non-affiliate links. If a link is changed to earn a commission, we will label it and place a disclosure near the top of the relevant page. Affiliate links will use sponsored and nofollow link attributes.
Current relationships
No approved affiliate relationship is active on this site. No provider pays a commission through the links currently configured. We will update this page when that changes.
Editorial independence
Providers cannot buy inclusion in a ranking or a particular result. A tested score requires evidence and a published method. The launch guides use sources and do not present a tested ranking.
