Clear VPN advice, with sources you can check
We help readers compare what providers document, understand the tradeoffs and know where the evidence stops.
Why VPN Brief exists
Choosing a VPN should not require decoding a discount timer or trusting a score with no explanation. VPN Brief puts the important questions first: what you need, what a provider documents and what evidence supports a claim.
Who we are
VPN Brief is operated by VPN Brief in the United States. Waleed oversees the publication. Thomas Grant is our editorial pen name. It does not identify an additional person, tester or set of professional credentials. We do not use a fabricated staff photo or invented biography.
Our current work
Our launch guides are based on named provider documentation and other sources linked on each page. We have not published firsthand VPN tests. No speed scores, streaming success rates, test awards or paid-subscription claims appear without supporting evidence.
Our independence
Commercial relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions. Providers cannot buy a ranking. When we eventually publish scored recommendations, their method and supporting records must be available to readers.
How we make money
The current provider links are ordinary website links. We do not earn a commission from them. If an affiliate relationship is activated later, the relevant links and disclosure will be updated. Read the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
We check information against named sources and date material changes. If a source changes or a claim is wrong, we update the affected page. Contact us by post while domain email is being configured.
